Rainy Day

I was all set to go out for shopping and visiting some friends 

Suddenly there was a downpour an umbrella my friends did lend

It was a rainy day, and everyone was with umbrellas and raincoats 

The young and the old everyone everywhere faced discomfort 

Wet and drenched, clothes were all soggy and damp

But a few youngsters were seen putting up a camp

Rain or shine life is fun to be enjoyed said a few kids

But the elders, grown-ups do have different needs

A Rainy day can make you sit indoors brooding or thinking 

If it rains continuously for days on end boats will be sinking 

Rain, rain some love Rain some say we need a lot of Rain

But for some Rain oh Rain for them it causes a lot of pain
