Ranting and Raving

I hope that you be hearin' me,

This poetry's all I got.

Trying to write a symphony

The rhetoric in my thought.

I don't need no sympathy,

No, I don't feel distraught.

I just had an epiphany,

I sure be havin' a lot.

I wouldn't trade my tragedy,

for things that can be bought.

I've been a fool for lesser things,

To find out that it's hot.

Now you mean to much to me,

The friendship that I sought.

How to think more righteously,

More frequently than not.

 What can you say. We're all caught

in a maze. It seems that everyone

these days, caught up in a craze.

When I say Hey, HEY.. you're caught

in a daze. How can anybody see,

when blind from the haze.

The cops shoot first, you'll stay

alive if you're tazed.

Got everybody wishin' on some

 better days.

I just want your piece of mind,

to pacify my craving.

There's no sense in tryin' to rewind

the bullshit I ain't saving.

There's no time for narrow minds,

The hour of enslavement.

I'm just tryin' to speak my rhyme,

for your own entertainment.

I just want to smoke some kind,

and mark my sign into the pavement.

I've been fine between the lines.

Here you'll find me ranting and raving.

I was blind, but now I see,

My boat won't float when it's

startin' to rot.

I will sink eventually, and

you can be everything I'm not.

I would flee, if it were up to me.

It could be fatal if you get shot.

The enemy of the Illuminati,

The nemesis of critical thought.

I want more people to be free,

Leave behind all forms of wrought.

I need some intelligent company,

But ran out of room, on my proverbial

yaught.

You can get some love from me,

'Cause love is free and it's all I've got.

You cannot live gracefully,

When the grace of a dove has not

been taught.

 What can you say. We're all stuck

in a haze. It seems that everyone

these days, is stuck in this maze.
