REVIEWING MESCALINE
REVIEWING MESCALINE
She took her winter camouflage.
No longer the yellow light
In my room shines bright.
All that’s left is me and Lilly.
Wasn’t it great to have Silly?
But like I said, she left.
Lilly isn’t much of a tattler.
To lift my mood of sombre,
Spoke she strangely.
Keeping two ladies was hard.
Her choice to leave? Not bad.
Silly or Lilly, only one can thrive.
Like a collapsing building
Fell deeper into bed sobbing.
Into a throbbing sleep.
Woke in the morning
Blown away to see sleeping
Silly by my side.
Was all the way up Lilly,
Pleading to get her filly.
She purred
The cat wants her treat.
But ‘what the kuf Last night
Happened?’ tried I to decipher.
Thus found out
What strange illusion
Can mescaline do.
