Say no to dowry,

Talk with the family,

Warn them strictly,

To save our dignity.

Educate us highly,

Encourage us to live independently,

Treat us equally,

Avoid giving or taking dowry.

Taking or giving dowry,

Seems inviting worry.

We never ask for a throne,

Just have a concern,

Don't make our heart's burn.

Have the power to earn by yourself,

Never thought of us as a burden.
