Tragedy

She gave up...

She gave up...

Once a fairy of the wood,

With magic and powers that she understood,

She spread joy and happiness everywhere she flew,

But one day she grew tired and her heart felt blue.

She had given up all her spells,

No more magic, no more tales to tell,

She wanted to rest and let go of her past,

But deep down she knew this wouldn't last.

She left the forest and took to the skies,

Her wings no longer flapping, her spirit no longer flies,

She felt lost and alone, her heart heavy with sorrow,

But she knew she had to find a new path to borrow.

Now she wanders the world, searching for a place,

Where she can belong and feel loved in grace,

Though her powers are gone, her spirit shines bright,

A reminder to all that it's never too late to take flight
