She Survived

Mornings are bright,

Evenings are dark,

It is just a cell,

So, don't be dull.

 

They say a smile is the prettiest makeup a woman can wear,

I smile when you smile,

Smile, smile, smile as you go miles.

 

Days will get hard and long,

So just give a smile hard and long,

Cause I am here; just stay strong.

 

It will be hard I know,

Look aside and you will see me with open arms as you already know.

 

Everybody says cancer is a dying hell,

But the survivors have a different tale to tell.

 

Face the fear; Cause I am here,

If you still need the push I will be your spring chair cushion.

 

Be the brave women that you already are,

I have seen you face things one by one; weighing over a ton and then going to the den.

 

Did I say the den? Oh yes, I did !!

You have a den cause you have the lion's heart,

Jus roar it out and let the cells tremble in fear.

 

Drain out the negative thoughts,

Buckle up with positive thoughts,

Baby lets just go to Spain,

And let's do it again.

Whenever you need me just give me a call,

But the phone will ring somewhere in the hall.

That is because I am right next to you,

Watch closely and that is what I am going to do.

Let's just drink some beer and just kick the fear.
