SHUT THE DOOR

Baby, shut the door tight

Sun has set, it's 'bout to be night

Inside keep lights on, all bright 

Close your curtains, be out of sight

It's always safer inside the home 

Outside the heartless brutes roam

In search for victims, nooks they comb

They may come as unexpected storm

Look! Of late inhumanity has bred

Spread across the globe, so be heeded!

This piece of advice is much needed

To let your mind cautious and weeded 

You may argue saying you're brave

But your stubbornness won't save

Reality is unfurled once you're in a cave

So heed the advice your parents gave

Turn a deaf ear and you are doomed

Like a flower, wilted before it's bloomed

Once gone, you can't get your life resumed

Listen! it's dark, get yourself safely roomed.
