Silent Killer

Silent Killer

Pollution, a silent killer,

Creeping through our land,

A destroyer of nature,

A threat to life, unplanned.

It poisons the air we breathe,

Choking our lungs with its grip,

Its toxins seep into the soil,

And contaminate every sip.

The waters we drink are tainted,

Polluted with chemicals and waste,

Killing off the fish and the creatures,

And turning the oceans to a barren place.

The skies that were once so clear,

Are now smoggy and gray,

The trees that were once so lush,

Are now withering away.

Our cities are filled with trash,

Littered on every street,

Our rivers are filled with debris,

As we watch nature's defeat.

But it's not too late to make a change,

To heal the wounds we've inflicted,

To stop the spread of pollution,

And leave the planet unafflicted.

We must come together as one,

To combat this deadly foe,

To reduce, reuse, and recycle,

And let our sustainable practices grow.

We must plant trees and protect nature,

And care for the Earth we call home,

We must make changes to our lifestyle,

And let a cleaner future roam.

For pollution knows no boundaries,

And its effects are felt by all,

So let us work together,

To prevent its deadly sprawl.

Let us make a commitment,

To our planet and to each other,

To leave a legacy of hope,

And let the world thrive like no other.

For pollution may be a silent killer,

But we are the ones with the power,

To make a difference, to make a change,

And let the world bloom like a flower.
