Slaves Poem
Slaves Poem
We have a life of our own
We don't want to hang onto someone else's sword
Our conscience is always cribbing us
Working for someone else
But the Holy Bible mentions
The duty of slaves
We have to realize this,
We are working for God
The Master of our masters
The Almighty, the Omnipotent
Existence-Knowledge-Bliss
Who is in all of us
A few makers cannot change our destiny
It is interesting to note that we worry uselessly
Let's let them make decisions that benefit them
Let us do our duty as slaves
Even if someone is not watching here,
Someone must be up from the heavens
We are a servant
Not of man, but of God the Great
So let us stop complaining and start enduring
Silently, all the pains
We will ultimately rejoice
In the company of God's holy men
Be certain
God's blessings are on their way
Don't shout unnecessarily until Judgement Day
