Sometimes and Every time

Sometimes I turn my back 

And doze off abruptly

Without kissing you good night 

Sometimes I wake up earlier 

Have my breakfast 

Without you in the kitchen

Sometimes....

I leave without hugging you

Not even caressing your hair

But

Every time 

I wake up, at any hour

I find you are by side 

Be it nightmare or dreams 

We may not kiss often 

Or dine together regularly 

Yet Wherever I am 

Whatever I am doing

My heart is reassured

You are everywhere For me

And it is every time.

You are my reason 

To stand and face

My doubts, my insecurities 

Be sometimes I happen

To fail you 

But every time I rise 

To make it up.
