Stereotypical Murder

In the darkest shadows of this world,

There was some dazzling ray he could still find,

Uprooting grief from within the soul,

And setting life free from his control!

Love was happening to him too,

Yet until his girl stayed,

For the worst was what she had carved,

Breaking his heart into two halves!

Those after-each-lecture dates,

And his pickup and drop service,

Mixed with the cheers made over a Maggie bowl,

Never seemed alike some prank or a troll!

But then adversities are undeniable,

Either a yes or no, they’re to be faced,

With a stereotypical family trend,

Love is brutally murdered and dragged to a sad end!

Government job with an elite bungalow was demanded,

Turning a deaf ear to his new start-up,

And clearly then her parents declared,

For marrying her to a rich lad with whom he can never be compared!

It could be said that nothing new happened,

As parting the loved souls is conventional,

Which our conservative society does each time,

Exactly when the duo is framing their perfect rhyme!

Whom should he blame now?

And who has to be cursed or rebuked?

For no one can bring back to him his lady,

Who had left his life utterly gloomy and hazy!
