Stranger
Stranger
I saw a stranger, standing by the door staring at me
I was wondering and wondering who he could be
It turned out in the end that he was my old childhood friend
In those old days, home cooked food by his mother, she would send
He was after all not a stranger, who I mistook for one
With his gentle and humble, ways many hearts he had won
This stranger was always very good at, everything he did with ease
But what to tell you'll friends; he had a habit to mock and tease
Stranger, oh! Stranger with years gone by, I have forgotten your name
I remember, you are saying that no matter what, you will achieve fame
A stranger if mistaken can bring a lot of stress and fear
In the end when you recognize him it brings a tear
A stranger can light up your life when you are lost and forlorn
No matter what may come we must to our old friends hold on
