Stupid Dreams
Stupid Dreams
Chimes sounded like the chords of a guitar,
Playing in a tune so perfect without being dull,
Sarangi played by the air,
Touched my heart,
I realised it was a dream,
I have been seeing since a week's time.
Leaves turned pale on the trees,
Birds stopped at my window to sing songs.
It was cold as snow but the Sun gave warmth.
Palanquin of fairies started to pass,
I was sitting among them like a princess,
Just a dream it was for a while,
Could barely see him,
He had touched my Soul,
Felt the tingles of his presence,
Though it was my dream.
The first love essence had stepped in,
Bringing fairytale dreams that seemed stupid to me once.
