Tattered Books

Once they were young, bundled with thoughts and aroma,

Some served as a permanent resident,

Whereas others made trips by serving various clients.

Though they belonged to the same community,

Their knowledge, status differed, along with the people,

They were communicating.

They grew old, with time.

Some got abandoned, as they got replaced by trendy ones,

With the advanced technology and device support.

Some were tattered beyond control and were banished.

Some got an opportunity to make and live

With new friends of their age, by serving the people.

The precious ones lived with their loved ones as

Usual by retaining the bond.

With age, they lost their importance and pages of memory.

They may be tattered and scattered

At times with words and knowledge.

But the knowledge they possess still serves the world.

Please don’t ignore, the tattered books.

Gone through by them, while entertaining the readers.

Adore them they have played a role in your life,
