Teacher To Student !

My fine arts class,

Thank God, I joined it at last!

It's the best thing that I have ever done,

For this, I am so thankful to my son!

As he is the one, who did encourage me,

Not doing it on my own, but by learning the art ABC!

Now, I know, there is so much to learn,

Hope I learn everything soon is my only concern!

My teacher is so very good,

Each one he teaches as he should!

When he shows us the way to paint,

We all copy his ways and try to repaint!

Sometimes it turns out fine or we redo it,

And we try to paint it bit by bit! 

When I enter the Art College campus,

It's so beautiful as drawn on a canvas!

The atmosphere there is so serene,

Filled with art lovers there, to paint are very keen!

It brings peace within you as you paint,

My classmates are so lovely, just no complaints!

My role as a student there is sheer bliss,

As a teacher all my life, now I love this!

Learning the right way is always good,

I could have done it long back, in my childhood!

Nevertheless, I now love this role of a student,

Thank God, I didn't miss it, that was very prudent!

Time flies so fast in my art class,

Sometimes, we go out on the soft grass!

There we study nature in detail,

Back in class to sketch it out to full scale!

If it comes out well, it feels so heavenly,

Feel good doing all this, so independently!

Hope I get all the nuances of drawing & painting,

So that I keep doing it without me straining!

My transformation from teacher to student in this case,

I love this so much now, much more than any other place!
