Tell Me Why

It seldom strikes to me but

The answers I do not get

There are things I observe

But are not explained or understood.

Life changes colors from brightness to pale

But why do we have to leave? There is no one to explain.

As a child there were queries

On seeing something new

But don't know why my mother

Could only answer a few.

While sitting with friends

We were laughing out are hearts so loud

But why was only the girl told

To be quiet

Why was she told to be softer and not to shout?

Why are there rules for some?

Why do they get away with mistakes?

Why is it only the weaker face it hard?

Why is it the others walk free in the race?

They say stop shedding tears when things go bad

But why do tears roll down

Even when I laugh and not even sad?

There are so many things around created

By the one sitting up there

But why do we not cherish them?

Why is it that we do not care?
