The moon followed me home that night

Kept saying hello, how are you?

Made me smile

A surreal glow fell on my face

I flushed like a little boy

Walking the lonely alleys

In the iron chill

An ethereal warmth

Kept me going steady

The mesmerizing silver beam

Made the dreary silent night

Magnificent, indelible

An angel watched me over

Beheld me with her grace

Speechless, I got back home

And slept like a child!!!!!!
