The Chasm of Hope

There is a place where time has nothing to keep.

There is a chasm that is nothing but deep.

A chasm of hope that runs through me,

A place I seem to go to more frequently, day by day there it is waiting for me.

Darkness is there with no hope of light,

A sickness hope has become, where good is a blight.

As nothing is real, except the Chasm of Hope before me.

 I struggle to get free.

Though in the end we're all alone
