The Dream Killed

Doing something different has always been my dream,

So I started to write in my quest to be successful in the stream.

But what I lacked was something that can only be earned,

The support of family was missing and the dream got burned.

How was I supposed to explain all of my pain,

Writing is not only a hobby it was all in vain.

Leave it and do something else there is no carrer on that path,

It was the mistake I still regret not going against their wrath.

Once again a dream was killed by the society and its norms,

Whether it be parents, relatives or the society everyone discouraged in one or other forms.

Why is the society to judge what we dream,

Whenever I look inside myself I can still hear the scream
