The Faraway Aliens
The Faraway Aliens
It has been a thing with me,
To look at the sky staring back,
To think of the life beyond us,
What are we to them?
We think of Aliens,
And portray them too,
As creatures dumb with less talk,
And horns which are two.
What do they think of us,
Those far away neighbors,
Do we really care?
Or want to care?
Do they really think of us?
Do we really matter to them?
Are we the Mighty Humans?
Or the Puny Creatures?
I really hope we don't matter,
For the lives beyond our radar,
I hope we are insignificant,
In the lives much more significant.
For our life is safe from,
Visitors too many,
With intentions,
Not known to any.
Let us remain a little insignificant,
For a peaceful Earth,
And only think of them as far away
Then being a part of us
Oh!
Our Faraway but not so very,
Our Neighbors from the other side.
We would like to know you in books,
But please remain there,
This is a humble request,
From a Puny Neighbor down here.
