The Great Goddess
The Great Goddess
Riding on the lion whenever she came,
Not just the rest; bowed all with fame.
A glorious saree; every time she wore,
The anger on her face; was even more.
Swards in her hands; seemed to shine,
Gods even prayed; standing in a line.
Riding on the lion whenever she came,
The evil shattered; with all his game.
For his brutality; the heavens cried,
Nothing to sip; the Earth was dried.
Listening to the prayers, the goddess awoke,
Recollected the universe; when it was to broke.
Riding on the lion whenever she came,
The elegance she had; was every time the same.
Mahisasur's brutality was beyond to store,
The very second instant; he was kicked to the floor.
She attacked! On his chest,
Destroying the evil; comforting the rest.
Riding on the lion whenever she came,
Not only the rest; bowed all with fame.
