The Little Things Matter
The Little Things Matter
The sun set into the West
And yellow leaves fell to the ground
The temperature kept dropping by the hour
And I felt the gust against my face.
I stood there, lonely and scared
I closed my eyes and thought
What's my next plan of action?
Is there any point of continuing?
When I had an epiphany,
So many people yet to meet, so many countries yet to visit
So many things to experience and so many jokes to laugh for
And then I opened my eyes wide.
As I came back to reality, realization dawned
One day we'll look back at the small things and realize how big they were
And how foolish we were not to figure that out
We only live once. Live it to your fullest.
