The Middle Class
The Middle Class
The economy shall persist
Even as inflation's hard to resist
Maligning the very present
It makes them in resent
They are the mass
Hence, the middle class
Reservations for others, are always plus
But their amenities, are never surplus
The desire to "live life, king size"
Just as they face downsize
They are the mass
Hence, the middle class
The educated
The less appreciated
Remain with the desire of fulfilment
Of their dream and face disappointment
They are the mass
Hence, the middle class
Solitary thing to treasure
Has no actual price to measure
The ideal
After all, never cracks a big deal
They are the mass
Hence, the middle class
They have lived through the ages
From the time of sages
They have devoted indeed
Life to the deed
They are the mass
Hence, the middle class
What would they have done?
When they are none
Every revolt in history
Is an ode their penury
Alas, uniting as a mass
They are the ever-thriving middle class.
