The Mind Monk

In the gamut of emotions,

The mind is a traveler;

Walking along the pavement,

Of built and broken relationships.

It relishes with thoughts bygone,

And miss them and says,

“Thee evanesced but not thy reminiscence”.

It keeps on going,

And the journey is long;

The thing matters are Faith,

And the efforts to keep it strong.

On this perennial flow,

It too teaches some lessons;

That up brings the maturity,

To carry on life and its sessions.

What to take and what to leave,

Stands many times a dilemma !!

Had the right choice been made,

It blesses to carry the voyage;

Else gives other chances,

To solve and prove an enigma.

In the quest for eternal peace,

And to quench without quit;

It keeps on to walk the journey,

And reaches salvation in pursuit.
