The Unspoken Person

The news of the baby girl born,

Made the family mourn.

In the arms of the mother was the baby girl,

Whose eyes were shining like a pearl.

The family's non acceptance,

Faded away the baby's innocence.

They didnt want her to have a future,

But the mother was worried of her nurture.

As she held her to her chest,

She decided to give her the best.

The others considered her a dis pleasure,

But truly she was a hidden treasure.

As she grew older it made her suffer,

The hatred of the loved one's which she had to discover.

They were against her education and passion,

What she longed for was only their affection.

They disliked the thought of her being independent,

As they never realized she was transcendent.

They then soon fixed her marriage,

And wished her to see her as a bride in the carriage.

To a man who is twice older to her age,

Who earns not a single wage.

Though she didn't agree,

Nobody listened to her plea.

Now her life took a great turn,

With only suffering which she got in return.

The man only gave her pain,

Which left her only in vain.

She got to know she had it all,

In a big trap she was made to fall.

But till the end nobody knew her price,

Of all the wishes she had to sacrifice.

They disliked.
