The Voice Of a Pure Soul

We did not choose our religion

Nor did we, the parents, the country

We were born into it...

But we can choose humanity

As it comes first and all its values imbibed within

Let us swim in it.

The values humanity espouses

are there to follow to live a civilized life

Then why not to hug it?

Religion doesn't come first,

Second or last, as it is the philosophy of life

We are liberal to follow it.

The sole purpose of religion is to

Reinforce our choice of humanity, its values

We should honor it.

We need kindness, love, patience

And strength to accept what is right

Let us nail it.

But we need the same courage, same traits

To reject what is wrong against humanity

Let us accept it.

In the cheer of life as we turn

Every day to usher into a new hope,

Let us pray for a kinder world

To live and let others live.

A world of peace,

Where prosperity can be slow

But humanity is immense,

Don't we deserve it?
