The wars of today

The wars of today 

Are far worse 

Than that of yesterday 

But will be no greater 

Than that of tomorrow 

Wars have caused thing but sorrow

The aftermath just brings about horror 

blood spills, skulls cracked, bones crushed to the marrow,

mutilated carcass, limbless living lives.

Are we living a better life today?

Because of the wars, we had yesterday 

Or will there ever be a better tomorrow 

what are the reasons 

Of the wars of today 

When the wars of tomorrow 

will always be greater 

than that of yesterday and today.
