This Ain't The Movies
This Ain't The Movies
Everybody wants to be a main character,
That they forget what they're truly after,
The essence of existing itself,
They forsake their identities to the shelf.
They forget that they have lives of their own,
And this information should be known,
Trying to be someone in the lives of others,
They trade their self-worth for empty colors.
Doing all that they can to be relevant,
Satisfying the masses, they forgot to be intelligent,
Doing things a little bit too much,
And they end up becoming out of touch.
Society has now become weaponized,
Trying a tad harder to be recognized,
Empty validations from random names and faces,
Finding synthetic love in the wrong places.
