To The Child Rapists
To The Child Rapists
I would have wanted to live,
Not the horrors that you had to give,
But the healthy and happy life which I could live.
I would have wanted to read,
Not the news of your deed,
But the fairy tales, girls my age need.
I would have wanted to laugh,
Not the sad smile to show me tough,
But the genuine carefree gut busting laugh.
I would have wanted to play,
Not the dirty games that came my way,
But hide n seek or police n thief, if I may.
I would have wanted to dream,
Not the nightmares that make my mother scream,
But the happy ones that children daydream.
I would have wanted to grow up too,
Not to be a woman that you gawk, eat and chew,
But to be someone your kids could look up to.
I would have wanted to even make love,
Not the lust that you have in your mind above,
But the magical and pure form of love.
I would have wanted to breed,
Not to give you another victim for your greed,
But to nurture humanity's seed amid your weed.
