Toiling Hands Need Care
Toiling Hands Need Care
These are the Hands that toiled hard for years and years
In Coal mines, digging for Gold,
In Farms, tending animals,
On sites, building skyscrapers,
In rough waters, rowing boats,
In forests, cutting trees,
In Factories, handling heavy and dangerous machinery,
On long tracks, laying Roads and Rails
In ditches, doing scavenging work
In fashion units, doing Tailoring jobs
In hot sweltering kitchens, cooking
In workshops, making furniture
In Foundries, melting metal
In fields, raising crops
In mud, making pots
And in many other places with seriously bad working conditions
But that they have cracked up now!
Will the current trends of automation help heal them?
Or will they snatch away even their daily bread?
