The city in its decay, grown too much,
The citizens groan daily as such.
People far and wide, in they trickle
Desolation in the country side, life can’t be with a sickle.
The city towards its decay hurtling
Potholes and foul air, jams, and disorder, is hurting
Paradise to hell in just over two decades
It is there for all to see, drop the façade.
Commuters remain muted in their daily life
How else? A moot point! I can empathise.
I live a life as if ‘commuting a sentence,’ isolated
Jam sessions on the street, I ain’t ready, remain home rooted.
