Tudhkar : Reminiscence
Tudhkar : Reminiscence
I have shut my eyes to your image,
Even your silhouette is invisible to me now.
You were in coffee shop near my office this morning,
Sipping your regular espresso,
Two shots of coffee, one tbsp of sugar and extra milk foam.
You never had great taste in coffee.
Neither then, nor now.
I have trained my mind,
To roll even the minutest thought of yours into a ball,
And throw it right into the trash can.
I was arranging my wardrobe the other night
And I found a shirt of yours in my stuff.
I recalled how you always paired it with a navy blue pair of trousers.
You never had any sense of fashion.
Neither then, nor now.
I am in total denial of your existence.
Yes I am.
It's been four months, eighteen days and seven hours that I last heard from you.
You never had anything convincing to say.
Neither then, nor now.
