Twilight

Twilight

The sky blushed purple,

The sun went down,

Everything went dark around the town.

The Misty clouds broke the hazy sky,

The daylight faded - scared to die.

The leaves fell silent in solitude,

The sky turned auburn from a dazy nude.

The smoke from the forest fire touched the sky,

In the distant woods the wolves cried.

The wind whispered secrets in the dark,

The daylight breathed it's last within a spark.

To only go back, the moon came out,

The sky bled dark now.

The clouds hid the delicate moon,

For she wanted to dress soon.

All stood immersed in this magical yet calming darkness.

And with an air full of mystery and joy,

Appeared the dark moonless night

Welcoming the faded Twilight.
