Mirror Mirror on the wall,

Who is the Saddest of them all?

-Some days it's you;

As far as I know,

And I know you well,

I have heard the funniest of jokes,

I listened to the saddest of stories,

And I accompanied you all throughout.

I was here all time long and,

I admire the way,

You stare at me like crazy.

And then I know it's just

Cuz you are looking at yourself.

I have seen many like you,

Beautiful and still feeling,

So ugly at times.

You talk to me about your life,

But times when you lie,

To overlook all the bad stuff,

I am aware of the thoughts on your mind.

I have never failed to recognise you,

But sometimes I know,

I fail to show you your true image,

When you are devastated,

And tears are rolling down your soft cheeks.

Because only a mirror that's broken,

Can show you,

How you look at yourself,

During those days,

When you are shattered in pieces.
