Vampire Holidays… A Reflection
Slowly and slowly they moved ahead,
Heavily laid bullock carts in a lonely road
Trees stretched their branches hiding the light
And sheltered scary ghosts to alight
Pedaling alone on the stretch of that road
He went one day with the setting of dusk.
Vampires lurking on the top of a bending bark
stealthily eyed him with bloody hunger
screeching wheels told his presence
fortunately his soul recognized
and felt the presence of the cold vampire.
With the holiday mood setting in
He wanted to rush away and win
Letting sparks of fire on the dried twigs
He let the fire spread…
The fire that vampires feared to tread...
