Wandering Minds

In the silence of my mind,

My thoughts begin to roam and find

A path that leads to unknown places,

A journey where time and space erase.

The world outside fades away,

As my mind begins to play,

With thoughts that drift and sway,

Like leaves in the wind, they dance and sway.

I watch them as they come and go,

Some stay awhile, others quickly flow,

Into the recesses of my mind,

Where memories and dreams entwine.

My wandering mind takes flight,

In the darkness of the night,

Where the stars above shine bright,

And everything feels just right.
