Water's Worth It

Water's been here long before we came along,

We may stay or perish but it is what really belongs.

It is the essence of life and should be treated such,

The way it is being used now there won't be left much.

To save the water is not only for ourselves or for today, 

But for the generation to come or all they would have to do is pray.

The loss of water so precious cannot go unanswered for,

One day will come the world will see its worth but there won't be any to pour.

There have been a lot of wars for power and wealth,

The next might be for water and all across will be death.

Still there is time to learn from the past and save water,

Even a small contribution of saving water will save you later.
