We were locked up inside the castle walls

We never saw the outside world

We were used to leading a lonely life

Darkness was our friend, we never saw light.

Had no idea what the outside world was

Life was all about the inside world

Finally, we got the freedom to go out

Our grim and dull face turned beautiful

We are all smiles! We are all smiles!

The sun and the clouds warmed our soul

The moon and the stars excited our soul

We nestled against the trees in joy

We loved the crowd who were all around

We are all smiles! We are all smiles!

The world is not cruel after all

It is generous enough to bless all
