Welcome New Year
Welcome New Year
As if winter winked,
Under the cover of snow;
And the crystals of night,
Flattered with rays of light.
On the carpet of drizzled grass,
There is the dawn of the New Year;
Embracing the steps of time,
Ready was the arms to hug.
With a treasure of emotions,
Boxed inside hearts;
And aspiring for a fill,
Revering the welcome feet.
I stood with shining eyes,
To get hold of the moment;
With some bitter-sweet feeling,
Over the past, present, and future.
With the old year walking away,
Leaving its steps in memories;
And a gesture to carry along,
With the novice beginning.
Encaved were some thoughts,
Now set to fly free;
And some clung so deep,
They are hard to leave.
With joining hands,
And the music of cheer;
Let us greet and say,
"Welcome New Year" !!
