What If?
What If?
What if I travel back in time,
With my oxygen tank and helmet,
How would I feel when I see their hair,
Flowing in the wind,
Unafraid ?
What if I travel back in time,
Only to find out that life was better,
Rid of this bodily clutter,
I would have seen my skin everyday ,
Brown, soft glowing in the sun.
What if I travel back in time,
Thinking that I could save them,
But only to find out that it was I who needed the saving.
What if I travel back in time,
Thinking I would find nothing,
Only to realise that our past had more,
Than today's something.
There was green grass,
And free air,
No tubes to breathe from,
No shell,
No care,
Only the damned freedom.
