When I Married An Olive

When I married an olive, 

I was ready to be his proud wife. 

With a huge proud filled smile, 

I walked down the aisle.

When I placed my hand in his, 

That was a perfect moment of bliss.

His olive coloured uniform was best formal outfit, 

the stars on his uniform were shining bright. 

With courage in my heart, 

I did the promise of never being apart.

The vows which were written by heart, 

Were the best thing I read on this earth. 

The moment we both kissed, 

Our beautiful relationship got truly blessed. 

He told me not to be afraid, 

His first love is his motherland. 

His duties will call him soon,

I have to get the habit of living alone. 

I pray to God when he is fighting for his motherland, 

Please keep him safe in your loving hands. 

He will always make me strong in my life,

 The hardest part is to see a empty bedside whole night. 

I was feeling proud to be a part of his life, 

The decision of marrying an olive was beautifully right.
