Why, Why The Ache?
Why, Why The Ache?
Walking by the shore,
Of the windless land,
Holding the lump,
In my throat, tight |
Yet it seeps,
Through the crevices,
Of my eyes,
My soul hiding behind |
A void in my heart,
Growing every micro second,
Dont make me feel, love,
Dont show me starry night,
Dont hug me, tight,
It aches more, every second |
I ask thee,
Why, why the ache?
No wind carried the screams,
Only a vibrating melody |
Tickling and twisting, insides of me,
So strong to behold,
I kneeled and begged,
Asked and asked |
Yet here I stand,
Beside a leafless tree,
With a void in my heart,
And a lump in my throat |
