Windy tales
Windy tales
Windy Tales
As Time stood still,
In the quiet of the night,
Not a whisper of the wind
Blew through the moonlight,
All was still .
There was a time when the wind sang through
The trees,
Billowed the clouds,
Giggled in the thrills,
And tossed my tresses,
This way and that,
And swept me off my feet !
Not anymore,
Cause the heart is heavy,
And grief is privy
To aloneness
In dire loneliness!
I cannot taste the freedom,
I cannot taste the sweetness,
Cause grief has changed
It to bondage,
And misery .
Will I ever feel the wind in my wings again?
Will I ever feel freedom
In my heart?.
When you know that
You are not bound by
Chains of existence,
Or bound by emotions,
Then the wind will
Carry you
On viewless wings
Way above it all
To freedom !
