You Amidst Nature
You Amidst Nature
Early morning dew, the Sun's lazy too.
The pillow sings me a lullaby, and I fall asleep.
I dodge my thoughts in fragile dreams,
And then I find you wearing an angel's outfit.
So, its finally midday, and its still raining.
A benevolent cloud dropping mercy over me.
(drip-drop) my panes are misty, and so I,
See you in rage amidst a thunder, so frightening.
The rain's over, and the clouds now huddle,
To form a pristine face that reflects your beauty,
From heaven you descend, and on my window, you reflect,
My face that seeks respite from my mind's monotony.
So I open my window and there lies the wall.
Moss fostering over those lifeless futile bricks.
Also there stands a tree which I wish to be,
To transpire all day long to enhance your ego,
My dear, which you can then pour down on me.
