A Butterfly Mystery

On the outskirts of the city Cork, Ireland lived a small kid named Liam with his father who was a blacksmith. He worked day and night but still made minimal money. Liam had an extreme desire to become a doctor and help people. However to do that he would have to have an education which Liam sadly couldn't get. So Liam had to stay at home and do chores and help his dad.

Everyday Liam would wake up at 6 : 30 am that start his daily routine. So he first brushes his teeth and showers afterwards he head to eat breakfast. By this time his dad his usually leaving for work. So Liam makes himself some breakfast than starts cleaning and moping the house. Afterwards it lunch time so Liam finishes his Lunch then goes outside. He finished cutting the grass and watering the plants then takes a 30 minute nap. After his nap he makes dinner for his dad and himself. If it is a good day he would have sometimes to run around and play or he would have no time.

One day Liam went about his daily schedule then came took his daily nap too. Today was a good day so Liam had some time to play and tun around. When Liam was playing a saw a small butterfly in the clearing and went to check it out. When Liam got closer it flew further away. Liam screamed ! Wait ! and ran after it. The butterfly kept on flying and flying until it reached a tall tree. Liam exhausted from running sat down to catch his breath. However while, Liam was sitting down the butterfly flew away. Liam got up hurriedly and followed the butterfly until it was the entrance of a hole.

It swooped into the hole. Liam hesitated but his curiosity got the best of him and he followed the butterfly. The butterfly lead Liam through a series of tunnels and rights then it stopped at a door then vanished into then air. Liam started at the door in awe it was made out of metals and it was huge. Liam not knowing what to do pushed the door. What he saw when he walked past the door was unbelievable. It was like heaven filled with metals and money with metals gardens and pristine houses. Along with sparking water and delicious looking food to top it off. While Liam was walking through this splendid place a small goblin type creature came up to him and introduced himself. Liam introduced himself too and asked where he was. The goblin said he couldn't explain that to him and that his master would explain that to him.

So Liam went to find the Goblins master based on the information the goblin gave him. When he arrived at the place he was spell bounded even though he was already shocked when he entered he became more spell bound at the sight of the palace. He pushed the doors and was greeted by the King sitting. He seemed to be waiting for Liams arrival. When he arrived The king asked Liam to sit down. Once Liam was settled the King started the story to Liam. He explained how they worshipped butterflies and how they person arrives here every year to be rewarded. He then explained how their god chooses a person she thinks is worthy then brings them here to get something. So the king explained how this year it was Liam. The king then said I shall give you a good home and lots of money.

Liam was flabbergasted and filled with joy he thanked the king then started on his journey back home. Once he arrived he saw his sitting worriedly and once he saw his son he got up and asked him where he was. Liam told him the story then they both went off into the sunset to start their new lives. Liam could become a doctor too and his father could rest.
