A True Adventure

In a calm and requiem Saturday, Vandana was frantically walking across the room. She then takes a deep breath to get over this episodic trigger. She has been long-suffering from schizophrenia. An anxiety-infused hallucination was common to her daily routine. She took a few minutes to recover and then went about her chores. It was a big bungalow with her and her alone. She had lost her mother, the other lone survivor a year back. Her financial condition was dwindling. She also had to pay for her father's debt. The house is no way resembled her current scenario, it was well maintained. All she now needed was the money to run it. Vandhana was fixated on not getting a loan or borrow from a relative.

A few days back her uncle had suggested that they could sell off their ancestral property. But she had to be there, present physically. That was going to be something, a Herculean task in itself. Vandhana hadn't stepped out of the house in years and now she had to travel to a remote village in Bihar. If she managed to step out she would achieve and accomplish a feat. Travel like this would be nothing short of a true adventure. A real-world awaited her outside. Will she seek and seize an opportunity like this? Only in time shall that be answered. This would indeed be an adventure of a lifetime.
