Akshay and Shramana

Akshay walked in swirling his car keys, while Shramana was busy speaking on the phone. He didn't get the ceremonious welcome he expected. Shramana was murmuring something not really talking. She wanted to keep something hush-hush. Akshay also seemed to have lost his sheen. They have been married for quite some time. They both needed respite from their busy schedules to sort things out. They were always poles apart ever since their Engineering days. They never had the slightest idea about how their relationship would eventually transpire. They were mere strangers in life and now we're more than a couple. They were trying to be true friends again. Since friendship forms the crux of any relationship their romance was best described by their love and respect for each other. Here they were standing transfixed in front of each other trying to gift something valuable and that was their precious. They had both decided to take a break from their absolutely reckless schedule. They were both tongue-tied and finally made the most important confession of their lives. They deserved a hiatus from their jobs and not each other. Now they can rekindle their romance amidst the confines of their sweet home and comforting extended family.
