An Act of Kindness

Once a lion caught hold of a mouse, which was playing around and disturbing him. The mouse pleads to the lion to spare her and she would repay the debt one day!

The lion was amused by the thought of a tiny mouse helping the mighty king of the forest!

However he let the mouse go and showed an act of kindness!

Now it so happened that a hunter came to the jungle after some days. The hunter laid the trap and caught hold of the lion. The lion tried hard but could not get out of the nets.

The desperate roars of the lion were heard by the mouse whose life was spared by the lion. She ran to help the lion.

The mouse cut open the nets which trapped the lion,thus releasing him. Thus the lion was freed!

The lion thanked the mouse and repented for doubting the capability of the mouse. Then both of them ran deep into the forest.

The moral of the story is that no act of kindness is ever wasted. Also we should not judge someone based on their appearance.
