Hey, who are you? I am coming. Who is there knocking the latch so loudly in the afternoon. Shakuntala somehow dragged her feet and crawled towards the door.

And from where did you collect my fees, Mataram?I could understand by not seeing the chain on your neck the next day. You know Mataram, God might not have given you a child through your womb because He only made you to be my mother.Now you will come with me and stay with me.I have become a big officer.

Tears flowed through the eyes of Shakuntala's and Ramprasad folded her into his athletic arms. This time, when Shakuntala raised her face after wiping the tears she seemed to get her vision clearer than before.
