Daugther-In-Law

       The settlers began to hold Rosy responsible for the death of an alcoholic husband. She would explain very often to the neighbors around her but no one listened to her. While he died due to falling into the river while driving a boat after drinking country liquor. Doctor also said the same. But these illiterate people could not even believe the doctor also. She was the only one who was knowing the truth. But everyone turned against her. It was difficult for her to come out of the house. Everybody was waiting to pass comments on her as this poor lady was out for her daily needs. She would quietly do her job and come and cry in her small hut looking at their behaviour. She was bullied in many ways. I had already done it a day. She was bent upon taking her out of the settlement.

Her childhood companion, Mac, and his mother, got the news from the postman. He could not keep up silent because she was his childhood friend. His mother also had accepted as her as her daughter-in-law. She would be very happy to see him playing with his best friend. But before she would talk to Rosy's parents, there was news of her getting married. When Mac came to knew about it. He could not control his feeling and wanted him to go meet her parents. But it was of no use. Understanding this his mother stopped him. But today the situation had changed. Her parents were also no more. She was left alone due to which she had to be a victim of torture. Mac’s mom immediately reached her colony. Mac also walked with her with saws.

      When they reached her hut they saw, then all her belongings were scattered in Rosy’s courtyard. She was crying bitterly in the hut.

       No one was feeling pity on hearing her hart-pounding voice. Both of them called her one after the other, but in return, there was the sound of crying only from inside. Mac's mother went inside and explained Rosy She called Mac Said to Mac "Mac come and hold her hand let me see who has the guts to stop. I also see what someone does?"

       After his mom’s order, he came out with her holding her hand in his hand and said with a loud roar "Is there anybody who can get Rosy out of the habitation, hey will you take her out of the habitation? I will take her to get married. Now, mom has given me permission. Let's go out of the way "Then turned back and said to Rosy" Come on, Rosy, you will be with our family from today onwards, being the daughter-in-law of our house in our house. See what anyone does?     

     Seeing the saw in his hand, everyone got scared. They felt that there was no one to save Rosy and they were taking undue advantage of her situation. When they saw Mac and his mother, everyone's eyes got torn. There was pin drop silence. All dispersed in a moment.

And they came to their homes happily with the new bride. Where Mac’s sister was waiting for them to welcome.
